Maintenance Specialist
Responsibilities: Perform task to ensure that the consumers of Laurens County DSN Board live in a safe environment. Repair, build and install items, which have been requested through work order forms that have been submitted to the maintenance department.
Requirements: High school diploma or GED and 1 year experience in building maintenance or building repair, Social Security Card and SC driver’s license verifications, completion of all required training classes, and good oral/written communication skills. Prefer skills include HVAC, electrical, painting and plumbing.
Work Schedule: Primarily 1st shift, 8am – 4pm, rotate on-call responsibilities.
Wages: $20.35 per hour, plus assigned a Work Truck.

Building Dreams Early Interventionist
The Early Interventionist works together with the family to help the child reach their full potential. The Early Interventionist also provides emotional support for families and coordinates appropriate services including transition to school and other developmental programs which will help the child reach their potential.
Education: At least a bachelor’s degree in Child/Human Development, Education, Family & Consumer Services, LPHA, Psychology, Public Health, Social Work or Sociology and one year experience in early childhood education, disabilities & special needs, or infants and toddlers.
Hours: 40 hours per week, working remotely is acceptable. Home visits are required, an agency vehicle is provided, and office time is work from home.
Wage: $37,190.40 annual wage

Nursing – LPN
Responsibilities: Educate staff via classroom trainings, on-site trainings, presentation trainings, and one on one trainings. Insulin and medication check offs, QA of medical books, Therap, medical cabinets, and MAR’s. Attend new and pre-admissions, doctors day, special appointments, and complete assessments.
Requirements: Current nursing/LPN SC license. At least 2 years’ experience working as an LPN. Teaching/Training experience preferred.
Work Schedule: 1st shift, primarily 8am-4pm, Monday – Friday.
Wage: $56,160.00 annual salary and State Health benefits package.

House Manager
Responsibilities: Under the general direction of the Residential Director, the House Manager is responsible for the consumers, the staff, and the home. The House Manager will provide the necessary support for the consumers, to include, health and safety, the implementation and monitoring of support plans, and daily training and documentation. The House Manager will manage direct support staff, staff schedules, staff training, grocery shopping, medical appointments, budgets, and maintenance needs.
Requirements: High School diploma and two-year’s experience in the field of developmental disabilities, preferably with at least one year of supervisory experience, or an Associate’s Degree and one year of experience in the human services field, or a Bachelor’s Degree in a Human Services field. Preferred experience should include management/supervision.
Work Schedule: 40 hours per week, primarily 1st shift, with 24 hour on-call responsibility. Hours may be flexed as needed to accomplish job responsibilities.
Salary: $44,089.34 annual salary

Medical Assistant
Responsibilities: Medical paperwork and communication with nursing about staff training. Assisting management with keeping medical records and updates current. Coordinator Assistant (ICF – CA)
Responsibilities: Coordinates medical care. Ensures all medical appointments are made and kept, and physicians orders and recommendations are followed. Necessary follow-up is completed. Medical visits are well documented. Responsible for Medical books and paperwork. Ensures that staff are properly administering medications and documenting correctly on the MAR. Make sure that the consumers diets are followed and that the appropriate groceries are in the home per dietician menus. Assist the manager with staff work schedules and provide shift coverage if needed. Monitor active treatment programs, body checks, and BSP data for accuracy and effectiveness. 24 hour on-call responsibilities.
Education: High School diploma and three-year’s experience in the field of developmental disabilities or an Associate’s Degree and one year of experience in the Human Services field, or a Bachelor’s Degree in a Human Services field. Preferred experience should include Medical.
Work Schedule: 40 hours per week, Monday-Friday, 8am – 4pm
